Can I Just Rant Muna?

Last Sunday, Fred asked me out on a date. I was hesitant because the only places I've been to for the past month were the hospital and the grocery.

Sure, I've been to Glorietta a couple of times but just to check the prices of formula milk and diapers. Landmark has the cheapest prices. Next to Puregold.

Back to the date, I gave in. We went to High Street. Bought the nicest umbrella at Dimensione. It was a nice afternoon. Topshop was on sale and I saw the prettiet Indian inspired sandals. It fit me well but I didn't buy it. I'm still thinking dreaming about it up to now but diapers, formula and vaccines come first. I'm a mother now and I just can't buy anything out of impulse.

I just wish I'm earning money during my maternity leave but my company doesn't offer that benefit (Ok, they're Chinese). So we try to maximize Fred's salary, our depleted depleting savings and my limited salary from my sideline. (No, I'm not an Avon dealer nor Mikey's kabit.)

Just like everyone else who would drop by at that sassy/posh commercial center, we went to Krispy Kreme (I was hoping for a free glazed donut but to no avail). I noticed that everybody inside the store brought their mini EEE PCs with them. (Is that the new black?). I'm really not a fan of that gadget. I simply don't like it. (Sorry Migy). To my surprise, everybody was just facebooking.

I mean, are you serious? You'd go to High Street just to buy 2 donuts, plug your mini pc, and stay for hours just to harvest your crops, answer quizzes and stalk people's profile? I don't get it. People have internet connection at home right? I mean I expect those who can spare 42 pesos for donuts to have internet connection at home. And I also think that customers who really like to eat donuts and drink brewed coffee (like us) deserve a table. After all, Krispy Kreme will have higher ROI on customers like us compared to them.
