I tasted the following dishes at The Peninsula - Chaoyang Park, Beijing.
Peking Duck
Almond Jello with Bird's Nest
My first decent meal in Beijing was in a Parisian Vietnamese Brasserie called Muse. I visited them twice and their selection was really good. It is located in Chaoyang Gongyuan Xilu, Chaoyang District.
And, while having dinner at Muse with a friend, we met this wonderful kid. She was friendly with guys and not with me. She's half English and half Taiwanese. What's cute is that, she loves to eat lettuce. Wonderful, isn't it?
Since, we don't have Muse here in Manila, Pho Hoa is my best bet for Vietnamese cuisine.
Try Vietnamese. Promise, you'll forget Menudo and Sinigang. hehehe
Plus, don't forget that I've also tried eating some scorpions, starfish, sea urchins, silk worms and other weird stuff. They have street food - hawker style in Wangfujing. It's a must that you visit this place when you swing by Beijing. It's a one of a kind experience.
Scorpions
Sorry, I forgot that it's lunchtime already. Hehe :)
