Sick / Excited

Sick.

I woke up this morning having a terrible headache.

My nose won't stop excreting SIPON. I already finished 2 rolls of tissue paper but it won't stop.

I am not allowed to drink medicine. My gwapo doctor said I should avoid any drug except for OB Smart - Vitamins for baby, Folic Acid and my prescribed medicine for my thyroid problems.

Hence, I will be buying a kilo of calamansi later and let husband squeeze one glass full of PURE calamansi juice for tonight.

I have 2 deadlines today. I promised myself I'd finish both but with my rate right now (blogging instead of writing a white paper) I cannot finish anything.

Excited.

Mum will treat us for a trip to Baguio this coming weekend. We already bought Deluxe tickets of Victory Liner's coach bus yesterday, Sushality ang bus (Like any exclusive tourist-esque bus of Koreans here in Manila). The trip will only last for 5 hours. There will be no stop over because the coach has its own restroom. We'll leave Friday (3 April) morning and be back Monday (6 April) afternoon.

Tuesday (7 April), I will be on my way to my most favorite city by far - Bangkok. Well, I wish it was a vacation. But no! I was informed that up to my last day there, I will have to visit a few other customers. I don't even know if I will be able to meet my Thai friends. tsk. I will be back on the 12th.

Friday (24 April) Fred's family that includes me will go to Caliraya for a 2 day fishing trip. The last time I was there, I was such a loser. I didn't catch any fish. Everybody managed to catch BIYA except me! Whatta loser.

To top all my excitement pa,

I will know baby's gender and look at his/her face 3-d in May. I will be undergoing a congenital ultrasound (which will be VERY EXPENSIVE!!!). I will have a chance to look at his/her face by then and check if he/she has 10 fingers, matangos nose (let's all pray for this okay?) and what have you. :)

I am so excited.

Don't worry I will post him/her when I get the results.

This is my niece in Texas. Her name is Avril Skye. She's the youngest in my family as of now. hehehe. She's also in my desktop.

Thank God, I don't wear maong jacket, maganda ang pangalan ko at hindi kita kamukha.

eeeewww

I just had to tell you what I ate today.

Breakfast:
2 pandesal with sardines
2 pandesal with momma's home made cheese pimiento
2 toasts with butter and sugar.
(This used to be my favorite food during my first month)

Lunch:
2 pandesal with sardines
2 pandesal with momma's home made cheese pimiento
4 slices of PAKWAN
Rootbeer (The only soda that pregnant mommas are allowed to drink)

Merienda:
Arrozcaldo with Egg
Hershey's chocolate shake from Mini Stop

I really don't feel like eating rice today because I threw everything up the day before. Hence, flour and yeast galore ako.

30 minutes later after merienda (WHICH IS NOW) I feel sooooo AWFUL!

I want to throw everything up and start my day with a decent meal.

I HATE THIS FEELING! I SO HATE THIS FEELING!

Help me.

I have a crush

at kinikilig ako.

I want to visit his restaurant in Hanoi. And I want him to read this blog. I want to let him know, I'd be willing to leave husband for him! haha. joke lang. (Bati tayo Fred!)

Well, when you are pregnant kasi, you are not allowed to watch shows with abnormal looking characters. (Read: Cartoons). Hence I am limited to ETC, Travel and Living and History Channel the past few months.

The last time I remembered na kinilig ako was when I became the number one fan of Will Smith and Savage Garden (Savage Garden guys turned out to be gays). And this was like AGES ago.

I always look forward to going home simply because I want to see Bob. Hehe..

Don't you find him hot?

Updates!

God, I need a PA. But I can't afford to have one!

I drafted a list of what I should do and should've done for the past days at least.

1. Finish viewing all the photos in the CDs Bryan had given to me last week. I really wanted to post photos of the wedding.

Don't you just love this photo?

Yes, I was crying and look at mum at the right side. This photo embodies the emotion during the wedding. It was a very solemn and an emotional event. Bryan loves this photo talaga!

2. It's the end of the month and OUR bills are piling up. I am now renting an apartment. So I have a lot of bills to think about plus my never ending credit card statementS!

Being married is not that easy. I cannot buy the shoes that I've been eyeing at Celine because I have to think of the baby and the bills. SHIT.

3. Work has been really hard lately. I have a lot of things to release, I have a lot of issues to settle, I have a lot of documents to write and review, plus I have to prepare for my upcoming business trip to Bangkok.

Yes, I'm happy that I will be visiting MY FAVORITE CITY again for the third time, but I'm kinda disappointed because the trip will be purely BUSINESS. Though I'll be meeting up with old Thai friends and I will get to buy my favorite, spicy dried guava which cost like GOLD here in Manila, I won't have time to go shopping. I also cannot afford to have an authentic Thai massage because it's not allowed for pregnant mommas.

I will be attending the 2nd Asia Pacific Smart Health Forum where I will get to meet the different health ministers of the different countries. I am hoping and PRAYING to close a deal with our OWN Health Minister so I could get a raise after the recession. As my Chinese boss would term it, we are experiencing FINANCIAL TSUNAMI. Funny no?

Asking permission from HUSBAND was a bit hard. I had to let him sign a document stating that he's allowing me to go when he was half asleep.

4. The only things I eat lately are ensaymada, ripe mangoes, cheese popcorn and rice with star margarine. I have to crave for some more fruits right?

5. Can anybody help me look for a kasambahay? We have to have one by June when my tummy gets big and freaky!

How are you?

:)

The wedding went well. It didn't go as planned but it was more solemn. It was a one of a kind wedding.

There was a minor glitch but everything turned out okay. Thank you to my relatives, my friends, my sister and my mum who made everything work.

I am saving the official photos for viewing because, Bryan still has them for compilation. I will also post the childhood AVP, Onsite Photo AVP and Onsite Video once I get the go signal from my very dear photographer Bryan.

As of now, I will leave you with this.
I just grabbed it from a friendster site of husband's cousin :)

I will write a longer blog later on to thank everybody who made my wedding day a very special one.

HELP!!!!!

I need 2 more songs for the onsite AVP during the wedding. Looking at my 3000++ songs is not helpful at all.

The 2 other songs I chose for the AVP are

Tonight, Tonight by Smashing Pumpkins - Onsite AVP
Heart of Mine by Peter Sallet - Childhood AVP

Choosing the best songs for the audio visual presentations is not that easy.

The one who can give me the best song will win a price!

I will treat you to an authentic Thai dinner. Promise!

HELP people. Help.

Ja, hindi ka kasali! haha

I need happy garden-esque songs. OKAAAAAAAY

Spare me from Gary V, Regine V and cheesy love songs por pabor!

Movie marathon

Okay, don't think I am outdated just because I am not posting my reviews about the movies I've watched lately.

Yes, I might be experiencing Financial Tsunami (as termed by my funny Singaporean boss) but nobody can stop me from watching all the IT movies nominated in the Oscars and the Golden Globes.

Yes, I've already watched

Slumdog Millionaire
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Revolutionary Road
Milk
Vicky Cristina Barcelona

No, I haven't spent 160 pesos to watch these in the movie house because again, I have no savings anymore, but I managed to buy clear dibidi copies at St. Francis Square and Chiqui sent me downloaded stuff 2 weeks ago.

I love Penelope Cruz. Yun lang :)

Mike, you're right, Benjamin Button was touching. It wasn't a Best Picture material but it was really touching.

This was the most touching scene, I think.

Do you have the full soundtrack of Slumdog Millionaire? I have it! Buzz me if you want.

Cheers!

One week to go

Just exactly 6 days from now, I will be officially married. As I am trying to concentrate on the piled tasks I have here in the office plus other small wedding details, I just can't help but think what will happen on Sunday.

I hope everything goes smoothly.

I hope that my coordinator in the hotel will remember all the last minute details that I have told her.

I hope to remember all the stuff I need to bring the day before.

I hope Fred and I can fix the money issues as early as possible because the bill isn't that cheap.

I hope that my tummy won't get any bigger as my wedding dress already fits perfectly.

I hope that nobody is late. I hope that SLEX won't be traffic.

I hope that it won't rain.

I hope that the strings and microphones that Carl and his band will be using will cooperate. I know they are very good.

I hope that Mike and Jing will pull their usher thing off during that day.

I hope that Fred cries while I walk down that bloody red aisle full of blossoming white roses.

I hope that everything will go as planned.

Dear God, make me calm.
