Making the right choice

Sunday, 8:30 PM.

Our primary sponsor who flies PAL planes (He's a captain) had a pretty interesting conversation with soon to be husband that could lead to our divorce.LOL! Joke lang.

Ninong: San ang honeymoon? (Where is your honeymoon?)
Fred: Naku, wala na pong ganun. (We didn't plan for it anymore)
Ninong: Anong gusto mo? Fort Ilocandia o Tagbilaran? (Where do you want to go? Fort Ilocandia or Tagbilaran?)
Fred: Po???
Ninong: Pili, ambagal naman, all expenses paid. (You choose, It's my treat)
Fred: Nako po, hindi ko po alam eh. (Blushing and smiling)
Ninong: Fort Ilocandia o Tagbilaran o CASH?

A few minutes after..

Fred:
Ninong, cash po, kailangan namin eh. (We need cash, if that's okay)

Fred ran to me and told me what they talked about.

And guess what my reaction was?

For the record, I haven't been to both ploaces, you know how much I wanted to travel. Right?

I just had to post these

When I first saw this billboard at Guadalupe Tulay 2 faces caught my attention.

Lucky, don't text when you are not looking at your phone.

I will not comment pala. I forgot. Hehe.

Finally, I found the billboard photo at Calayan's website.

Miracles do happen

I am very happy to tell you guys that my cyst in my right ovary is gone. It was a miracle.
My OB was shocked, mum and Fred cried.
When I asked my OB, how did it happen? I thought that I had to undergo a surgery just to remove the cyst.
He told me the Pregnancy brings miracles. This was last week.

When I visited my endocrinologist this morning to see my TSH and FT4 results for my thyoid imbalance, he told me that everything is back to normal now. Though he wanted a lower TSH in the next month but he was very happy to tell me that I was neither a Hypothyroid nor a Hyperthyroid. Both are bad cases for women. But in my case everything is normal.

My TSH went down to 0.412. The normal range is 0.27-3.75. The doctor is hoping that it could get as low as 0.27 so he increased my dosage of medicine once more.

My little baby gave me hope :)

He/She is making everything that he/she could just to make his/her mummy healthy.

Thank you Yuri Sebastian/Lilly Margrett.

Yes, we have chosen the names already :)

My Valentine's date

After loads of errands last Saturday (Read: Wedding dash in Binondo and Divisoria), Fred and I managed to rest and we decided to just eat at a quaint little restaurant (Fluke) which I love at A.Venue Mall.

It's very near our house plus the food is great. We were supposed to eat something African but mum doesn't like that. Yes, she was our date.

After eating chicken ala pobre and my favorite lemon squares, I threw up everything just outside A.Venue mall. I was pathetic. All the ladies were pretty in their little black dresses and I was throwing up all I that I have eaten (which wasn't too much) as my mascara was smearing. I felt ugly.

Of course mum and fred were there to make me feel better.

That was my date. One of kind eh?

Me and my personally crafted tantrums

I've been really bratty lately.

I hate it when it's so noisy in the office. But I hope you'll forgive the pregnant mama.

Last night, after eating dinner at my mum's house, I dragged soon to be husband to the nearest 7 Eleven just to buy a bag ice of cubes. I wanted to drink water with the refreshing noice of the ice. hehe

I walked to 7 Eleven only to find out that they don't have 2 kgs bag of ice cubes. They only have a big bag. I didn't want to buy that because that was too much. I crossed the street to YoHoo hoping they will give me what I want.

The lady let me wait for freaking 15 minutes, just to tell me that I cannot buy ice from them. 15 FREAKING MINUTES for a busy pregnant mama like me was just too much.

The conversation went like this.

Bons: If I buy this green Mango would you give me my bag of ice?
Lady: Ok, but that's 55 pesos.

-- I only had 50 pesos with me

Bons: 55 pesos for a piece? Can't you just give me a bag of ice. I really need it.
Lady: No.
Bons: If I buy a whole chicken would you give me my bag of ice?
Lady: Yes, but that's expensive.

Fred told me to just leave. I was losing patience. THAT BITCH!

All I needed was just a freaking bag of ICE!!!!!

Too bad I didn't bring my wallet, because if I did, I could've bought 3 whole chickens instead. PUNYETA KANG ALE KA!

We ended up buying at Mini Stop. Thank God they had a smaller ice cube bag.

Future husband was relieved.

Havaianas of 2009

What do you think of new Havaianas collection this 2009?

I have to admit it, but I still wear them to the office. Still the most comfortable flops ever. The latest pair I got was given to me last May 2008. So my flops are so outdated.

Yay or Nay?

Naglilihi

Yes, my baby has a heartbeat already. :)

He/She is 8 weeks old according to my last known menstrual period (LMP) which was 3rd week of December.

I keep losing weight. I lost a total of 7 lbs in 3 weeks which worries the doctor a bit. This is resulted by my frequent puking and food choices.

I have bad tantrums at night.
I hate malls. I don't like going there. I end up puking everywhere. (Unbelievable no?)
I ride and must ride the cab every day. Else, I will push all the ugly people in the MRT. Warfreak ako lately.

For my food issues:

I make lihi with a Subway 6 inches sub. (Italian BMT, caesar dressing, everything in it, parmesan bread).

I like food in orange
Kiamoy
Pringles Cheese Ums
Melon Milk
Ponkan
Palabok
Cheese Polvoron
Dole Pine Orange Juice
Potato Corner Cheese flavor.

I like Sinigang na Baboy (I hated this when I wasn't pregnant)

I like Fresh Buko and Indian Mangoes with salt and red chili.

I easily get tired. :( I sleep at 8:30 PM and wake up at around 8 AM. I sleep after lunch. hahaha.

Yun lang :)

Wedding preparations are fine. We're almost done with the nitty gritty details. All we need is MONEY. Our parents will not be paying for anything. Everything will be shouldered by us and the bill is way beyond we expected.

Amazing

After Google Earth comes Google Ocean

PARIS -- The search engine Google launched a new service Monday to allow Internet users to explore the depths of the world's oceans from the comfort of their homes on dry land.

The "Ocean in Google Earth" feature will allow users to "dive beneath the water surface, explore 3D underwater terrain and browse ocean-related content contributed by marine scientists," a Google statement said.

"Google Earth is equipping itself with a new dimension: depth," Jean-Francois Wassong, an engineer at Google France, told a news conference.

Nearly four years after Google Earth enabled users to zoom in to view streets, and later explore galaxies in the sky, the latest version of the software allows virtual travellers to dart across miles of unchartered territory underwater.

"Oceans cover more than 70 percent of the planet's surface but only a little bit has been explored," said Florence Diss, head of Google's geographical partnerships, referring to findings that humans have examined just five percent of world's seas.

By allowing users to explore underwater volcanoes, hunt for whales and learn more about shipwrecks, Google says "Ocean in Google Earth" offers a platform for everyday Internet browsers to link up with the scientific community.

The feature includes 20 different layers of content contributed by leading ocean explorers, scientists and researchers, such as photos and videos of "hot spots" around the world and information on marine protected areas.

It also has an animal tracking device in which users can follow animals that have been tagged by satellite.

Diss said the decision to expand Google Earth to cover the world's oceans "is not about making money". But she would not reveal the project's cost.

Since its launch in June 2005, Google Earth has been downloaded more than 400 million times.

The free software gives Internet users access to satellite images and maps around the world.

I don't like it there.

I don't like going to Bonifacio High Street for the following reasons:

1. It's too classy for me.

2. Going there will make you realize your stature in the society. Which in this case will be somewhere really really low. Even if you have a good job.

3. Going there will make you hate rich people more. Imagine, politicians with nice cars and thick pile of 1000 peso bills in their pockets. They don't bother to use wallets because if they lose the money they could easily get more. That makes you realize you are DIRT.

4. I like the shops (Pag sale). I like the restaurants (but have only eaten in a few).

5. I don't really like going to places where I will look nothing and make me become more envious of people who don't deserve their money at all.

6. Lastly, I don't want to pretend like I'm am somewhat rich which I really am not.
